Based in Scappoose, Oregon — just 20 miles northwest of Portland — Martin Model Pattern & Woodworking has been producing exceptional custom woodwork for over 60 years. Founded by Gary Martin, our shop has served everyone from individual clients seeking one-of-a-kind furniture to some of the largest industrial companies in the world.

Gary’s career spans an extraordinary range of work: custom pieces for Stanley Tools, Boeing, Ingersoll Rand, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Volvo, Freightliner, and Oshkosh Trucks, as well as landmark public works including the Astoria Column staircase, park benches on the Portland Waterfront for Columbia Cascade, and steam locomotives for an international amusement park.
